What you intend to do

As a Senior Account Manager, you will be a member of the CSM Middle East team, taking the lead on one of our most important clients. The job would need you to work on a variety of projects and sports. You will be in charge of client account management and will lead the day-to-day connection between CSM and the customer.

And oversee talks about the client’s sponsorship strategy, its significance in their business, and how it translates into activation delivery for their present sponsorships. We are searching for someone with excellent client skills, experience working in the sponsorship market, and a passion for sports and entertainment.

You will be stationed in Saudi Arabia as part of our Brands team (with remote and flexible working options, as well as some time working out of the client offices).

You will collaborate with colleagues from around the Middle East and will be needed to travel between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, as well as other countries in the region on occasion. You’ll report to an experienced Account Director and work closely with CSM’s KSA Country Manager and Regional Director.

Your primary tasks will be as follows:

  • Leading the client relationship and cultivating connections with important contacts inside the customer’s in-house delivery teams. Some further assistance from other Saudi clients.
  • Effectively managing monthly project and status meetings with the client and internal CSM update meetings, as well as monitoring regular client documentation, project management
  • In charge of client strategy updates and project planning (together with AD and SAE)
  • Project schedule development and management, budget management, invoicing, task tracking, and other pertinent supplemental account documents
  • Manage internal and external ideation and creative development sessions.
  • Maintain and manage relationships with internal stakeholders, rights holders, and suppliers.
  • Help the team implement all parts of the account contact points, such as general rights distribution, live event delivery, digital & social strategies, PR & Comms, and guest management.
  • As appropriate, attend client in-house meetings and give subject matter knowledge. Collaborate with the AD to guarantee the greatest possible customer service throughout different aspects of the CSM business.
  • 1 Senior Account Executive reports to the line manager.

You will require the following abilities and experience:

  • Graduate of a university
  • Fluency in written and spoken English. Arabic is advantageous.
  • A strong interest in corporate strategy and the sports and entertainment industries
  • 8-10 years of Account Management experience Experience in sports and entertainment is desirable.
  • Line management experience is desired but not required.
  • Experience working with clients in the Middle East area. KSA was preferred.
  • Excellent speaking abilities and the ability to facilitate group conversations
  • Excellent writing and spoken communication abilities, as well as attention to detail
  • The mentality that is analytical and problem-solving
  • The desire for commercial knowledge, account management, and strategic planning
  • Ability to multitask and operate across several workstreams
  • Ability to prioritize and manage a team efficiently, as well as operate well under pressure
  • Workstream management that is solution-focused and hands-on
