This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the leading provider of Eelhouse College of Education and Sport within the branch of knowledge of teacher education for primary education, particularly within the field of Gaelic medium education.

We welcome candidates to contribute to the vision of primary education in ITE within the World Health Organization College of Education and high-quality teacher education in interdisciplinarity, learning for property, equity and diversity, and skilled learning. will provide Active in leading and planning innovation initiatives and fostering partnerships between the community and faculties.

Candidates may have some data and understanding of the Scottish education system and the wider and general education sector, and be prepared to engage in analysis and scholarship in these areas.

There is flexibility to be placed between grades eight or nine within this post, either on the Teaching and Analysis or Teaching and Scholarship track.

The appointee will be responsible for the teaching and management of the courses MA Primary Education with Gaelic (Fluent Speakers) and MA Primary Education with Gaelic (Learners). and contribute to the wider work of the institute and also to the highest college PRN of the institute.

Your skills and attributes for success

● GTCS Registered (Primary)
● Experience working in Gaelic medium primary education
● An understanding of current data and Scottish Government education policy relating to Gaelic medium primary education.
● Gaelic speakers
● Ability to gift high levels of trust among academic practitioners in the ITE and faculty sector.
● Ability to approach learning and teaching in artistic, innovative, and engaging ways.
● Self-motivated, and willing to work independently.
