The Sr Director of Nursing is accountable for all aspects of patient care operations, including patient experience, personnel management, fiscal resources, performance improvement, and interdepartmental coordination/collaboration. The Sr Director of Nursing ensures that standards of care are met and that relationships with physicians and other disciplines are collegial, all while keeping the patient and their family at the center of all decisions. The Senior Director of Nursing is a multi-purpose leader who reports to the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO). A highly resourceful individual with strong emotional intelligence, self-motivation, independent initiative and strong analytical skills is required for the role. Clinical managers and Director peers, VPs and other department directors reporting to the CNO for clinical and operations, system VPs and system peers.
Master of Science in Nursing, current California RN license
- A minimum of five years of experience in a nursing management-level position is required.
- Within six months of employment, obtain a LA City Fire Card.
