Information About the Queensland Police Service (QPS)
The Queensland Police Service (QPS) is the primary law enforcement agency in the Australian state of Queensland.

Prerequisite for Recruitment to the Queensland Police Service
- At the time of application, you must be at least 18 years old.
- Be an Australian citizen or have permanent resident status or a New Zealand citizen with a special category visa (SCV*) issued under the Migration Act 1958 (Cth).
- Have completed year 12 (or similar senior year) OR have three years of a full-time job (or part-time equivalent) since graduating from high school
- Have an open driver’s license or a current provisional driver’s license and at least 12 months of driving experience as the license holder (automatic or manual vehicle)
- Demonstrate a high level of previous behavior and behavior, including your traffic and/or criminal background.
- You must be physically and mentally fit to perform the duties of a policeman.
You must have successfully passed the QPSea before applying to become a police recruit.
The QPSea will be widely accessible in each of these places in January, February, March, April, May, July, September, October, and November of 2022.

The Queensland Police Service (QPS) Recruitment Process for 2022/2023
- If you have satisfied all of the conditions, you may now apply to QPS.
- To begin, ensure that you have passed the Queensland Police Service admission exams (QPSea)
- Following that, candidates will be invited to complete an online application.
- Applicants will be tested physically – QPS Recruit Entry Fitness Assessment
- There will also be a written and face-to-face psychological evaluation.
- If you pass QPSea, you will receive an email from QPS Recruiting inviting you to complete your online application to become a Queensland Police Service Recruit.
- Following that, you will be asked for a panel interview.
- Following the completion of these steps, there will be medical testing.

Queensland Police Service Salary and Benefits
- Constables are paid between $64,921 to $81,067.
- $81,067 – $99,160 for Senior Constable
- Every year, there is a 6-week vacation.
