The Department of Student and Tutorial Administration (DSAA) is one of the key central services of the University of Portsmouth and is central to its success. This department is responsible for a diverse and wide range of physical responsibilities and services across the institution and includes: student and course management systems, timetabling, admissions, student and program administration, tutorial administration, Graduation, external withdrawal, and information. Standards, UKVI student compliance, lesson standards, quality management, and partnerships.
This is an exciting time to be involved with DSAA, and the Tutorial Registrar and Director are therefore looking for a high-quality candidate to manage the department’s workplace. The post holder may manage the Tutorial Registrar and the Personal Assistant to the Director, and provide coordination with them in quality administration for the department as well as wherever appropriate.
The selected candidate may possess a high level of expertise, smart communication, and social skills and therefore have the ability to identify differences as part of a team. They will have a high level of attention to detail. In addition, they will be expected to participate in functions and programs related to the scholar lifecycle and department administration. Knowledge of working in a highly instructional environment is essential and previous experience working in a very busy work environment is critical.
